compare and contrast the amzon river

the things that are the same as the ocean is that there is sponge and trenches in there. but the things  that are different is the water is very mucky and the ocean is very clear. this mucky water made  it very hard for the cameras to take the pichuers of the creachers. the fish in the amzon  are very differnt then the ones in the ocean they differnt boby struchers to them then the ones in the ocean. but there are the same kind of fish in the amzon like the sting ray, dolphins. but they have different desings to them in order to live out in the amzon river. but to remember the amzon river is a very dangours river so if you go in" WHACH OUT"!!!!

waves

pepole that live by the ocean need to know about  waves. they need to know what a wave could do to there homes and lives. they need to know what samis can do because some pepole dont know what that is and you would hate to have them die. living by the ocean means a lot of dangers. you could lose your groun do to erosin or you could lose your house do to a sami.  HAVE A GOOD DAY MRS SHORDER!!!!!!!!!!!:)

anmials that live on the coast

the killer whale come back to the every year when the seals are trying to swim. and when they are trying to swim the killer whale eat them. but that aint all they do they through them around and play with them before they eat them sometimes. they give them a fling with there tale and they go high up in the air. but the killer whale has to be careful that they dont get stuck on the coast when they get them seals. but killer whales are very big and they have the looks of a shark.

current lab

for wind to een happen frist high low prsuer. when the low and high prsuerfs meet then thats hat causes winds. the water temp has to do with how close to the equator the water is. if the water is close then the water is going to be warmer. the frther away from the equator  the water will be alot colder.

the coral sea

the red mouth group fish like to fight the lion fish off. the lion fish have possious fins so the other fish dont usally bother them. the shrimp like to live in the spong becase they are protected. the only time the shrimp are in danger is when the warm comes in and trys to eat it. the red mouth group fish like to swim slow so the fish dont thank that they are a enmy  to them then they eat.

the deep ocean

Euphotic- theres a lot of light and it is full of life. this is a place were a lot of anmials live and reproduce. normal fish live here.

Aphotic- deep sea jelly fish has dark red skin and no light. these anmials have sun light. so these anmials are like see through anmials and they special shapes and desings and colors.

Disphotic- hattachet fish with not very much light. these anmials are kind of handicaped. sence they dont have very much sun light  they can not move all that fast.

sea water chemistry

diffusion- is when the prefume starts to spread through the air particals.

Dissolving- is when it starts to dissolve in the nose.

latent heat- is when the skin assorbs the chemical from the prefume.

water properties

cohesion-when water forms a droplet on the side of glass.

Adhesion- when water is clinging to the side of glass.

Surface tension- a penny on top of a glass of water

seaonal seas

the whales live off of alot of plankton and hairing. the octopuse like to eat crabs. when it gets warm there is a lot of plankton grown in the ocean. sveral anmials depend on plankton throught the year. jelly fish even have the desire to eat the plankton in the water.

polare bears

 The polar bear adapts to the cold weather in many ways. when the ocean freezes up the bears find an open spot in the ice were wails come up to get air. when the wails come up the bears try to get one to eat. in the months when the ice melts the bears go back on land and find food there. the abioict things that  polar bears do is they hibernate.

The most interesting thing to me about the movie was the fish. I didn't even know that we had any kind of tuna fish out there. I liked how the tuna protected themselves. the tuna do feed alot of fish out there. i liked the yellow tuna they were real neat. the sting ray fish are realy neat under there belly.

On the first slide I chose the picture of the wave because of the white tips. the reason why waves happen is energy that moves across the surface.

On the second slide i chose this picture of a wave because the way the sun come through it was cool looking.
